What you will learn here

Pronunciation is taught from the sounds Bangla does not have, because that is where the difficulty actually sits — v against b, f against p, the two English th sounds, consonant clusters at the start of a word. Each page says where the tongue and lips go, and gives pairs to practise against.

উচ্চারণ শেখানো হয়েছে বাংলায় নেই এমন ধ্বনি থেকে, কারণ অসুবিধাটা আসলে সেখানেই — v বনাম b, f বনাম p, ইংরেজির দুই রকম th, শব্দের শুরুতে যুক্তব্যঞ্জন। প্রতিটি পাতায় জিভ ও ঠোঁট কোথায় যাবে তা বলা আছে, সাথে অনুশীলনের জোড়া শব্দ।
