A hobby is an activity you do for fun in your free time. In English we usually say 'I like…', 'I love…', 'I enjoy…' or 'I'm into…' followed by a noun or an -ing verb.
Hobby মানে অবসর সময়ে আনন্দের জন্য করা কোনো কাজ। ইংরেজিতে সাধারণত 'I like…', 'I love…', 'I enjoy…' বা 'I'm into…' বলার পর একটি noun বা -ing verb বসে।

Common Mistakesসাধারণ ভুল

My hobby is playing football.
After 'my hobby is', use the -ing form: playing, not play.
I very like gardening.
I really like gardening.
In English we say 'really like', not 'very like'. 'Very' goes before adjectives, not verbs.
I do pass time by singing.
I pass the time by singing.
'Pass time' translated directly from Bangla sounds unnatural; say 'I spend my free time singing' or 'in my free time I sing'.
I am interesting in photography.
I am interested in photography.
You are 'interested'; the hobby is 'interesting'. Use the -ed form for how you feel.
