Describing your daily routine is one of the first things you do in real conversations, interviews and speaking tests. With a few time words and everyday verbs, you can talk about your whole day in simple, natural English.
নিজের দৈনন্দিন রুটিন বর্ণনা করা বাস্তব কথোপকথন, ইন্টারভিউ ও স্পিকিং টেস্টে প্রথম যেসব বিষয় আসে তার একটি। কয়েকটি সময়সূচক শব্দ আর প্রতিদিনের কিছু verb দিয়েই আপনি সহজ, স্বাভাবিক ইংরেজিতে পুরো দিনের কথা বলতে পারবেন।

Talking about your daily routine means describing the regular things you do each day using the present simple tense and time words like 'usually', 'every day' and 'in the morning'.

রুটিন বলতে আমরা present simple tense ব্যবহার করি, কারণ এগুলো অভ্যাসের কাজ: “I wake up at 6”, “She goes to work”। মনে রাখবেন — he/she/it-এর সাথে verb-এ -s যোগ হয় (wakes, goes)। সময় বোঝাতে ব্যবহার করুন “in the morning / afternoon / evening”, “at night”, “every day”, আর কত ঘন ঘন বোঝাতে “always, usually, often, sometimes, never”। এই শব্দগুলো সাধারণত মূল verb-এর আগে বসে: “I usually have breakfast at 8”। বাংলা থেকে সরাসরি অনুবাদ করে “I am wake up” বলবেন না — সঠিক হলো “I wake up”। ধাপে ধাপে বলতে “first”, “then”, “after that”, “finally” শব্দগুলো কাজে লাগে।

Common Mistakesসাধারণ ভুল
I am wake up at 7.
I wake up at 7.
Present simple needs no 'am' before the verb: 'I wake up', not 'I am wake up'.
Everyday I go to office.
Every day I go to the office.
'Every day' (time) is two words, and 'the office' needs 'the'. 'Everyday' as one word means 'ordinary'.
She go to school in the morning.
She goes to school in the morning.
With he/she/it the verb takes -s/-es: go → goes.
I take my breakfast at 8.
I have breakfast at 8.
In natural English we 'have' breakfast, lunch and dinner — not 'take' them.

- Use the present simple for routines, and put frequency words (usually, often, always) just before the main verb. — রুটিনের জন্য present simple ব্যবহার করুন, আর frequency শব্দ (usually, often, always) মূল verb-এর ঠিক আগে বসান।
- Link your day with 'first', 'then', 'after that' and 'finally' so it flows like a story, not a list. — 'first', 'then', 'after that', 'finally' দিয়ে দিনটা জুড়ে দিন — যাতে তালিকার মতো নয়, গল্পের মতো শোনায়।
- In casual talk, add small details ('a quick cup of tea'); in interviews or tests, keep it clear and organised. — ঘরোয়া আলাপে ছোট ছোট বিবরণ যোগ করুন ('a quick cup of tea'); ইন্টারভিউ বা টেস্টে স্পষ্ট ও গোছানো রাখুন।
