Bangla has one word, বিয়ে, where English has two. "Marriage" is the state you live in for the next forty years; "wedding" is the day with the lights and the biryani. So "Best of luck for your marriage day" quietly says something nobody meant. Congratulating people is easy English with a few traps of exactly this kind.

Congratulations is for something achieved or received; good luck is for something still ahead. Get the timing right and the rest is one preposition — "on" — plus a warm second sentence that says why you are pleased.

The word always ends in 's' (Congratulations), and we use 'on', not 'for', before the achievement.
Congratulations for pass the exam.

After 'on', the verb takes the -ing form: passing.

Put 'so' before 'happy' for a natural, warm tone; 'very much' at the end sounds translated.

'Best of luck' fits things not yet decided (an exam); for a wedding, 'all the best' or 'congratulations' is warmer and more natural.
