Making plans means suggesting an activity or time and agreeing on it together — using phrases like "Do you want to…?", "How about…?", "Let's…", and "Sounds good".

পরিকল্পনার চারটি ধাপ মনে রাখুন। প্রস্তাব দেওয়া: "Do you want to…?", "How about…?", "Let's…"। সময় ঠিক করা: "Are you free on Friday?", "What time works for you?"। রাজি হওয়া: "Sounds good", "That works for me"। ভদ্রভাবে না বলা: "I'd love to, but…", "Maybe next time"। খেয়াল রাখুন — "How about"-এর পরে verb-এ -ing বসে ("How about going?"), আর ভবিষ্যতের ঠিক করা পরিকল্পনায় present continuous ব্যবহার হয় ("I'm meeting him tomorrow")।

After 'How about' the verb takes -ing, not 'to': going, meeting, eating.

Use 'on' with days of the week: on Friday, on Monday.

- To refuse politely, always soften it: start with 'I'd love to, but…' so the other person doesn't feel rejected. — ভদ্রভাবে না বলতে সবসময় নরম করুন: 'I'd love to, but…' দিয়ে শুরু করুন, যাতে অন্যজন খারাপ না ভাবে।
- 'How about…?' and 'Do you want to…?' are casual — great with friends. For work, try 'Would you be available…?' — 'How about…?' আর 'Do you want to…?' অনানুষ্ঠানিক — বন্ধুদের জন্য ভালো। কাজের ক্ষেত্রে 'Would you be available…?' ব্যবহার করুন।
