Future Perfect Tense
Future Perfect Tense (পুরাঘটিত ভবিষ্যৎ কাল)
Introductionভূমিকা
The future perfect tense lets us look ahead to a point in the future and say that something will already be finished by then. We build it with 'will have' plus the past participle — perfect for deadlines, plans and predictions.
Future perfect tense দিয়ে আমরা ভবিষ্যতের কোনো নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের কথা ভেবে বলি যে তার আগেই একটি কাজ শেষ হয়ে যাবে। গঠন হলো 'will have' + past participle — deadline, পরিকল্পনা ও ভবিষ্যদ্বাণীর জন্য উপযুক্ত।
Definitionসংজ্ঞা
The future perfect describes an action that will be completed before a specific time or event in the future: subject + will have + past participle.
Future perfect এমন কাজ বোঝায় যা ভবিষ্যতের কোনো নির্দিষ্ট সময় বা ঘটনার আগে সম্পন্ন হবে: subject + will have + past participle।
Bangla Explanationবাংলা ব্যাখ্যা
গঠন: subject + will have + verb-এর past participle (V3)। যেমন — 'I will have finished the work by 5 pm.' (আমি ৫টার মধ্যে কাজ শেষ করে ফেলব।) সব subject-এর জন্য 'will have' একই থাকে — he/she/it-এও কোনো পরিবর্তন নেই। না-বোধক: will not have (won't have) + V3। প্রশ্ন: Will + subject + have + V3? এই tense-এর সাথে সাধারণত 'by', 'by then', 'by the time', 'before' — এই শব্দগুলো আসে, যা একটি শেষ সময়সীমা বোঝায়।
Examplesউদাহরণ
- By next June, I will have finished my degree.আগামী জুনের মধ্যে আমি আমার ডিগ্রি শেষ করে ফেলব।
- She will have left before you arrive.তুমি পৌঁছানোর আগেই সে চলে যাবে।
- They will have built the bridge by 2030.২০৩০ সালের মধ্যে তারা সেতুটি তৈরি করে ফেলবে।
- We will have eaten dinner by the time you call.তুমি ফোন করার সময় আমরা রাতের খাবার খেয়ে ফেলব।

- He will not have saved enough money by then.সে তখনও যথেষ্ট টাকা জমাতে পারবে না।
Common Mistakesসাধারণ ভুল
By 8 pm I will finish my homework.
By 8 pm I will have finished my homework.
For an action completed before a future time we need 'will have + past participle', not the simple future.
She will have went home.
She will have gone home.
After 'will have' we use the past participle (V3): go → gone, not the past simple 'went'.
He will has finished the report.
He will have finished the report.
'Will' is always followed by 'have' — never 'has' — for every subject.
They will have finish by noon.
They will have finished by noon.
The main verb must be the past participle (finished), not the base form.
Tipsটিপস
- Look for a deadline word — by, by then, before — it almost always signals the future perfect. — একটি সময়সীমা-সূচক শব্দ খুঁজুন — by, by then, before — এগুলো প্রায়ই future perfect নির্দেশ করে।
- 'Will have' never changes; only the past participle after it does. — 'Will have' কখনও বদলায় না; শুধু পরের past participle বদলায়।
- If there is no future deadline in your sentence, you probably need a simpler future tense instead. — বাক্যে কোনো ভবিষ্যৎ সময়সীমা না থাকলে সম্ভবত আরও সহজ future tense লাগবে।
