Bangla covers both of these with প্রত্যেক, so for most of a page you can put either one in and nothing goes wrong. That is exactly what makes the handful of places where they are not interchangeable worth ten minutes — those places turn up in exam papers, in prescriptions and in office notices, and they are the only places anyone notices the difference.

Each looks at the members one at a time. Every looks at all of them at once, as a complete set with nobody left out. Both are grammatically singular, so both take a singular verb however many people you are actually talking about.

The subject is 'each', not 'students', and 'each' is singular. This is the most common error in the pair.

With exactly two of something, English uses 'each'.
Take the medicine each four hours.
Take the medicine every four hours.
Only 'every' combines with a number to show frequency.
Every were present at the meeting.

Can I always replace 'each' with 'every'?
Often, but not with two items, not with numbers, and not when the word stands alone. Outside those cases the difference is emphasis rather than correctness.
Is 'everyday' the same as 'every day'?
No, and this catches people constantly. 'Everyday' is an adjective meaning ordinary ('everyday clothes'). 'Every day' means daily. If you mean daily, it is always two words.
Why does 'each of the students has' sound wrong?
Because 'students' is closest to the verb and your ear follows it. Cover 'of the students' with your finger and the correct verb becomes obvious.
Which one is used in 'each other'?
'Each other' is a fixed phrase for two or more people acting mutually — 'They helped each other.' There is no 'every other' equivalent with that meaning.
