I have been reading in this school since Class Six and have stood first in my class in the last two annual examinations. My father is a farmer with a small holding and my mother is a housewife. There are five members in our family, and my father's income is barely enough to meet our daily expenses. It is becoming difficult for him to bear the cost of my books, private tuition and examination fees, and I am afraid my studies may be interrupted. I am enclosing a copy of my last examination result and a certificate of my father's income issued by the union parishad chairman. I therefore pray and hope that you would be kind enough to grant me a stipend from the poor fund of the school so that I can continue my studies, and oblige thereby. বৃত্তির আবেদনে **ক্রমটাই যুক্তি**: যোগ্যতা → প্রয়োজন → প্রমাণ → প্রার্থনা। অনেকে শুরু করে অভাব দিয়ে, তাতে আবেদনটি করুণা চাওয়ার মতো শোনায়; ফল দিয়ে শুরু করলে সেটি **প্রাপ্যতার দাবি** হয়ে ওঠে। দ্বিতীয় অনুচ্ছেদে **নির্দিষ্ট তথ্য** দিন — বাবার পেশা, পরিবারের সদস্যসংখ্যা, কোন খরচগুলো কঠিন হচ্ছে; 'আমরা খুব গরিব' লেখা কিছুই বোঝায় না। তৃতীয় অনুচ্ছেদটি ছোট রাখুন কিন্তু বাদ দেবেন না — সংযুক্ত কাগজের উল্লেখ আবেদনটিকে বাস্তব করে তোলে।
