A review shares your opinion of something — a film, a book, a product, a restaurant — and helps the reader decide whether to try it. A good review is honest, gives reasons, and ends with a clear recommendation.
Review হলো কোনো কিছুর ব্যাপারে আপনার মতামত — সিনেমা, বই, পণ্য বা রেস্তোরাঁ — যা পাঠককে সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে সাহায্য করে। ভালো review সৎ হয়, কারণ দেখায় এবং স্পষ্ট সুপারিশ দিয়ে শেষ হয়।

A review usually has four parts: an introduction (what it is), a description (key facts without spoilers), an evaluation (what you liked and disliked, with reasons), and a recommendation (who should try it).

Common Mistakesসাধারণ ভুল

It is enjoyable because the story is clever and the acting is strong.
A review needs reasons — say why it is good, not just that it is good.
In the end, the hero dies and the killer is his brother.
The ending is surprising, but I won't spoil it here.
Avoid spoilers; describe without revealing the key twist or ending.

The movie was amazing.
'Movie' is singular, so use 'was', not 'were'.
This is best phone.
This is the best phone I have used this year.
Use 'the' before a superlative like 'best', and add a comparison to make it meaningful.

- Always give a reason after your opinion — 'enjoyable because…', 'disappointing because…'. — মতামতের পরে সবসময় কারণ দিন — 'enjoyable because…', 'disappointing because…'।
- Mention both a strength and a weakness so the review feels balanced and honest. — একটি ভালো দিক ও একটি দুর্বল দিক দুটোই বলুন, যাতে review ভারসাম্যপূর্ণ ও সৎ মনে হয়।
- Finish with a clear recommendation: who should watch, read or buy it. — স্পষ্ট সুপারিশ দিয়ে শেষ করুন: কার দেখা, পড়া বা কেনা উচিত।

What should a good review include?
An introduction saying what it is, a short description without spoilers, an honest evaluation of the good and weak points with reasons, and a clear recommendation of who should try it.
How long should a review be?
For most school tasks and websites, three to four short paragraphs (about 150–250 words) is enough to cover the description, your opinion and a recommendation.
Should I only write positive things in a review?
No. A balanced review mentions both strengths and weaknesses. Being honest about a weak point makes your praise more believable and helps the reader trust you.
