Common Mistakesসাধারণ ভুল
I want to send a letter in the post office.
I want to send a letter from the post office.
You send mail 'from' the post office (the starting point), not 'in' it.
Please give me a stamp to paste on the parcel.
Please give me a stamp to stick on the parcel.
In English you 'stick' a stamp; 'paste' suggests glue you spread, which sounds wrong here.
The postman delivered the letter to the sender.
The postman delivered the letter to the receiver.
The 'sender' posts the letter; the 'receiver' (recipient) gets it. Deliveries go to the receiver.
