Common Mistakesসাধারণ ভুল

My mother is a good cook.
A person who cooks is a 'cook'. A 'cooker' is the appliance (stove/rice cooker), not the person.
Put the plate in the oven to keep cold food.
Put the plate in the fridge to keep cold food.
An 'oven' heats food; a 'fridge' (refrigerator) keeps it cold. They are opposites.
I will boil the egg in oil.
I will fry the egg in oil.
'Boil' uses water; 'fry' uses oil. Choose the verb that matches the method.

What is the difference between a cook and a cooker?
A 'cook' is a person who cooks food. A 'cooker' is a kitchen appliance such as a stove or rice cooker. Never call a person a 'cooker'.
