Consonant clusters: asked, texts, sixths
বাংলা শব্দের শেষে তিনটি ব্যঞ্জন পাশাপাশি বসে না, তাই আমরা মাঝখানে একটা স্বর ঢুকিয়ে দিই — school হয় ishkul, asked হয় ask-ed। ইংরেজিতে ওই স্বরটি নেই, আর সেটাই সবচেয়ে বড় উচ্চারণ-চিহ্ন।
জিভ আর ঠোঁট কোথায় থাকবে
গুচ্ছটি ভাঙবেন না, বরং ধীরে বলুন: as-k-t, teks-ts। প্রতিটি ব্যঞ্জন আলাদা করে শোনা যাক, কিন্তু মাঝখানে ই বা অ ঢুকতে দেবেন না। ধীরে ঠিক হলে দ্রুতও ঠিক হবে; উল্টোটা হয় না।

যে ভুলটা সবচেয়ে বেশি হয়
I want to go to ishkul.I want to go to school.Bangla adds a vowel before a cluster to make it sayable; English does not, and that added vowel is the single clearest marker of a Bangladeshi accent.
