Student Life Paragraph

Student life is the period spent in learning, and it is called the seed time of life because whatever is sown then decides the harvest later. It is the best time to build a mind and a character, since a student has few responsibilities and a great deal of energy. His first duty is to study, but study alone does not make a complete student. He should take part in games, debates and cultural programmes, because a healthy body and a confident voice matter as much as marks. He should read beyond the syllabus, help his classmates, respect his teachers and be useful to his neighbours during a flood or a relief drive. Student life also has its dangers. Bad company, addiction, aimless hours on a phone and politics that use students for other people's purposes have ruined many careers that began well. What makes this period valuable is that it does not return. A person can earn money again after losing it, but nobody gets a second student life, and the habits formed now — of reading, punctuality and honesty — will still be there at fifty.

ছাত্রজীবন হলো শেখার সময়, আর একে জীবনের বীজবপনের কাল বলা হয় — কারণ তখন যা বোনা হয় তাই পরে ফসল ঠিক করে দেয়। মন ও চরিত্র গড়ার সবচেয়ে ভালো সময় এটি, কারণ ছাত্রের দায়িত্ব কম আর শক্তি অনেক। প্রথম কর্তব্য পড়াশোনা, তবে কেবল পড়াশোনায় পূর্ণ ছাত্র হয় না। খেলাধুলা, বিতর্ক ও সাংস্কৃতিক কাজে অংশ নেওয়া দরকার, কারণ সুস্থ শরীর ও আত্মবিশ্বাসী কণ্ঠ নম্বরের মতোই জরুরি। পাঠ্যসূচির বাইরে পড়া, সহপাঠীকে সাহায্য করা, শিক্ষককে সম্মান করা, বন্যা বা ত্রাণের সময় প্রতিবেশীর পাশে দাঁড়ানো — সবই এর অংশ। বিপদও আছে: খারাপ সঙ্গ, আসক্তি, ফোনে উদ্দেশ্যহীন ঘণ্টা আর অন্যের স্বার্থে ব্যবহৃত রাজনীতি বহু ভালো শুরু নষ্ট করেছে।

গড় উত্তর কেবল কর্তব্যের তালিকা দেয়। আলাদা হতে **বিপদের অংশটা** রাখুন — খারাপ সঙ্গ, আসক্তি, ফোন, ছাত্র-রাজনীতির অপব্যবহার। ক্রম: (১) সংজ্ঞা ও কেন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ; (২) মূল কর্তব্য; (৩) পড়ার বাইরে; (৪) সমাজের প্রতি দায়; (৫) বিপদ; (৬) কেন এই সময় ফেরে না। শেষ যুক্তিটা সবচেয়ে জোরালো — টাকা আবার আয় করা যায়, ছাত্রজীবন যায় না।
