The headmaster and a teacher-in-charge oversee it, but the real work is done by an editorial board of students who collect the pieces, choose among them, correct them and arrange the pages. Money comes from a small contribution by each student and from advertisements taken in the local market. Its value is not in the printing. A student who sees his own poem in print for the first time discovers that his writing can reach people he has never met, and that discovery has started more writers than any lesson.
