Definitionসংজ্ঞা
A phrasal verb is a verb plus a particle (like down, off or out) whose meaning is different from the verb alone. "Cut down" does not mean physically cutting — it means to reduce.
Phrasal verb হলো একটি verb-এর সাথে particle (যেমন down, off, out) যোগ হয়ে তৈরি হওয়া শব্দগুচ্ছ, যার অর্থ শুধু verb-এর অর্থ থেকে আলাদা। "Cut down" মানে কিছু কেটে ফেলা নয় — মানে কমানো।
