A common mistake

The syringe is the needle.→The needle is the thin steel tube at the front; the syringe is the barrel and plunger behind it that holds and pushes the liquid. Both are single-use — a needle blunts on its first pass through skin, and reuse is one of the surest ways to pass on infection.
