A common mistake

Plant the seed of a good mango and the tree will give you the same mango.→It almost certainly will not. A seed carries two parents, so a seedling is a new cross and rarely matches either — which is exactly why named varieties like Himsagar or Langra are grafted rather than sown. A graft is a clone of the parent tree.
